Humanitarianism: A View from Anthropology
What are we contributing to when we donate to humanitarian aid? Anthropological inquiry into the way in which humanitarian aid infiltrates the social and political structures of war-torn communities offers a critical understanding of humanitarianism’s role in today’s world.
